recruiting seminars
- Do you feel that you have the desire and the talent/potential to play basketball at the collegiate level?
- This is to provide a service for athletes and parents to gain knowledge on the recruiting process. Regardless of your talent level, if you want to be recruited by Junior College, NAIA, or at the NCAA level you need guidance.
- The process of finding and contacting coaches and dealing with the rules and regulations enforced by the NCAA and NAIA is quite a daunting process for both athletes and parents. The use of this recruiting seminar is a must for all athletes who are serious about playing basketball at the college level.
- Many fine young players are overlooked each year because they didn't take the necessary steps in getting recruited by the college coaches. Quite honestly, talented players are at times overlooked as well because of possibly a decision or an action that they made during the recruiting process and they very likely were not even aware how it was negatively affecting them. As a 15 year veteran of college coaching in which recruiting was a large part of my job, I can help guide and educate parents and athletes on things such as: academic requirements, high school vs. AAU teams, correspondence, what college coaches look for, how to get evaluated, what it takes to play at the college level, and just what your options are as a young athlete looking to pursue your basketball career.
- Choosing where a young person will pursue their academic and athletic career is an important decision and one that should not be taken lightly.
- This service is provided to both individuals and to teams.
